Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, usually known as Joseph Vijay, even his nickname is Ilayathalapthy. He is an Indian actor, producer, and singer who has consistently entertained his fans with his melodious voice and amazing acting skills. He has also acted in many movies, for which he has gained tremendous support from fans and a great deal of appreciation. While some of his fans would like him to sing lovely songs. He also attempted his hands-on production and created a number of movies. He was born on 22nd June 1974, Chennai, India. Joseph Vijay has close connections with the cinema as his parents S.A Chandrasekhar (father) and (mother) Shoba Chandrasekhar both are affiliated with the cinema. His father is a filmmaker and her mother is a singer. He belongs to the Christian faith and still praises his parents for his consistent success.
Very few people know that he appeared as a child artist in the 1984 film “Vetri.” And the movie was directed by his father. He has dropped his graduation because he decided to be a good actor and he put in a lot of work to hit the destination.
