Jigarthanda, a 2014 gangster drama, was a delight for the audience from well-known Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj. People are already anticipating its Jigarthanda Double X sequel. Karthik has had a fantastic year so far because to the success of Mahaan, which received positive reviews from both critics and viewers. He is currently working tirelessly on the Jigarthanda sequel, his upcoming film.

Yesterday (December 11), the filmmaker posted about the publication of the teaser and a poster, which served as the announcement. “Starting my next. Jigarthanda DoubleX,” the caption reads.

The announcement release came yesterday (December 11) with the director posting about the teaser release and a poster.

The release of the teaser was announced in the following two posts, which also included movie posters. The teaser’s release was also announced by the filmmaker on Twitter. Raghava Lawrence and SJ Suryah are featured competing in the clip named “a kind of teaser.” The cinematic shots are reminiscent of vintage western movies.

Being an admirer of the Hollywood director, Quentin Tarantino frequently serves as an inspiration for Karthik’s film shoots. The same may be seen in Jigarthanda Double X’s camera angles and slow-motion captures. The protagonist of the teaser is seen attempting to escape from a squad of pursuing policemen.When the cops and thugs charge towards Raghava’s character, who is shown in the teaser wielding two firearms, he drops the weapons and punches through the dirt to pull out a camera. According to reports, Nimisha Sajayan will also have a significant part in the movie.

The technical crew for Jigarthanda includes composer Santhosh Narayanan, editor Shafique Mohamed Ali, and cinematographer Thirunavukkarasu. The major cast of the first film included Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Lakshmi Menon, Karunakaran, and Guru Somasundaram, among others. In the first instalment, Vijay Sethupathi also made an intriguing cameo appearance.
