Waltair Veeraya’s title song, featuring Chiranjeevi, has generated controversy over its lyrics.

Waltair Veeraya, directed by KS Ravindra (Bobby) and starring megastar Chiranjeevi, is scheduled to hit theatres on January 13, 2023. Even though Devi Sri Prasad composed the music, music fans are raving about the songs that have already been made public.

The recently released title song deserves a special note. because poet Vutukuru Janaki Rama Rao made a post on social media in response to this song’s lyrics. Famous author Yandamuri Veerendranath shared the same article and provided his analysis.

Yandamuri criticised the single’s writer for the lyrics of the song’s title tune, “Waltair Veeraya.” The song has stirred up debate because of the phrases it uses, which many claim are loaded with blasphemy and decadence. He claims that his articles were labelled as offensive and blasphemous of the Hindu deity Shiva.

Despite the controversy, the song has received a tonne of praise since it was released. The highlights of this song are Chiru’s dance and the upbeat melody by Devi Sri Prasad. Anurag Kulkarni and Pavithra Chari contributed vocals to this song, and Chandrabose wrote the words. Since its release, the song’s title has received more than 7 million views.
