Thalapathi Vijay is one of the most popular actors of the Kollywood industry and he has his own separate market and fans around the world.
That’s not the case all the time, once his movies were continuously being a disaster and people were criticising him for that. After that period of time, from Kavalan to Nanban, his movies were doing decent. Thuppakki is the blockbuster he gave along with Directors Murugadoss. After that, his market and the talks inside the industry were so positive for Vijay. Kaththi and Sarkar, the other two movies he did with Murugadoss. Something was missing in Kaththi and Sarkar doesn’t have any complex screenplay structures like Thuppaki also. So his fans were little unhappy with Vijay-Murugadoss combo. Murugadoss also had a hard time with the critics on his recent flick with Rajnikanth’s Darbar.
Vijay’s 65th film after ‘Master’ was going to be produced by Sun Pictures and Murugadoss is on the director’s list for some time. But no official statements from Sun pictures came out. Our sources say that Vijay liked only half of the script and he doesn’t like the second half and suggested Murugadoss to rewrite it. He informed Sun Pictures to hold the official announcement for now.
You can see Vijay is obviously taking his moves carefully and it is a very healthy thing for him rather than blindly choosing a script without telling any changes to the director. Every script should be questioned by the actors regardless of the director’s reputation.
