Venkat Prabhu, Vetrimaaran, and Pa Ranjith team up for Vijay Antony’s Raththam teaser
The spoof movie franchise Tamizh Padam is well-known thanks to director C.S. Amudhan. With his upcoming movie Raththam, he has altered his filmmaking approach. Raththam’s teaser hints that, in contrast to his earlier movies, which parodied the formulaic Tamil blockbusters, this one deals with a more serious and vital subject.
Amudhan has requested favours from his coworkers Pa Ranjith, Venkat Prabhu, and Vetrimaaran, who have established a career out of addressing societal issues in their films. The three filmmakers take on the roles of the narrators as they explain Raththam’s plot and conflict. The movie, in which Vijay Antony plays the key role, is a statement on how unstable and dynamic the nation’s socio-political condition is.
Many of us merely desire a straightforward, tranquil existence. When we succeed in both our personal and professional lives, we will be quite satisfied with life, adds Venkat in the teaser.
Vetrimaaran draws attention to the capture. He continues, “Not everyone can live the life they choose. He emphasises how “the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the deity we pray to, the language we speak, and our own identity can be used against us.
Ranjith believes that does not, however, imply that one should give up on pursuing their goals. We don’t have to slavishly adhere to other people’s rules. Even to lead a routine existence, we must struggle. And one battle might alter the course of history for a city, a nation, or perhaps the entire world, he asserts.
We get a sneak peek at Vijay Antony’s persona in the teaser. He seemed to have been some sort of victim. It’s reasonable to presume that he recently lost someone or something dear to him because he doesn’t appear to be willing to give up easily.
Mahima Nambiar, Nandita Swetha, and Ramya Nambeesan are also featured in Raththam. The release date has not yet been disclosed by the filmmakers.
