Vaathi, starring Dhanush, will have a new release date
One of the busiest actors in the South, Dhanush frequently shoots for his movies. The dynamic actor has finished filming for the Venky Atluri-directed movie “Vaathi,” which will now be released on February 17 instead of in December.
“Vaathi” has more graphic frames, and its producers have been continuously editing the movie to improve its quality. The movie is expected to be delayed till the summer since it appears to need extra time for post-production.
Expectations have been raised by the GV Prakash-composed song from the movie “Vaa Vaathi,” whose melodic track has dominated the music scene for months. Therefore, the producers strive for a better release date to generate more revenue at the box office.
Additionally, according to a separate rumour, “Vaathi” will be released in the summer and will compete at the box office on April 28 with “Ponniyin Selvan 2.” If it does, Dhanush’s two films, “Naane Varuven” and “Ponniyin Selvan 1,” will clash back-to-back with Mani Ratnam’s directorial in September 2022.
The bilingual drama “Vaathi,” which is set in the 1990s and stars Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon, will be released concurrently in Tamil and Telugu. For this Pongal festival, we can anticipate an update from the “Vaathi” producers to confirm whether the film’s release date will change or not.
