Update from filmmaker Shiva Nirvana: Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda will continue filming on Kushi
After learning that she had Myositis, an autoimmune disease, Samantha Ruth Prabhu had been receiving treatment. In order to give herself some time to heal, the actress had taken a sabbatical from performing. And it appears that Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda will soon resume their Kushi filming.
The team behind the movie is preparing to begin the regular filming, the film’s director Shiva Nirvana tweeted on Monday. The normal shoot for “#khushi” will begin very soon, and according to him, “everything is going to be lovely.”
Almost half of Kushi’s shot has already been finished, and the other portions will be finished according to the existing schedule. Samantha has recently been spotted coming back to work. In the gym, she was observed working out hard.

Samantha is now preparing for the February 17, 2023, release of her new movie Shaakuntalam, which will hit theatres. Award-winning director Gunasekhar wrote and directed the movie.
Samantha also has the Varun Dhawan-starrer Citadel, which is directed by Raj and DK in addition to Shaakuntalam. It is the Indian adaptation of the well-known American television programme of the same name. The first series was directed by the Russo Brothers. Additionally, she will begin filming for a Bollywood project in a few months.
