Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa has opened a new restaurant C Salt, which specializes in regional costal South Indian cuisine. The restaurant is surrounded by landscaped nature in a tropical environment ambience. The restaurant will follow ‘sea to plate’ concept to ensure freshness and to bring out the authenticity of the coastal South Indian food.
The menu has been put together to ensure quality of ingredients and the ambience of the restaurant. Some of the dishes in the menu are the seasoned soups made with organic ingredients, starters such as deep-fried banana flowers, fresh fish wrapped in betel leaves, tender prawns made in Andhra style and many more. The team has also brought in traditional
utensils and crockeries to bring out an authentic taste.
A range of specialty seafood will be the highlight of the menu. Signature dishes such as Chettinad Crab masala, Allepey Prawn and fish curries, Prawn bamboo briyani and classic cocktails such as Gods Own Nectar, Malabar Mule, East Coast Paradise to name a few will be among the highlights along with an upbeat music to enjoy a dinner with family or friends.

Mukesh Sharma, Executive Chef said that C Salt is one of the most awaited outlets of the property offering regional and coastal cuisine. The restaurant is open from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
