Tiger Shroff vs. Ayushmann Khurrana: May the Best Action Hero Win!
Tiger Shroff has some of the best action flicks in Bollywood, no doubt about it. Will Tiger Shroff’s slot be taken by Ayushman Khurrana’s upcoming film, An Action Hero? This is the idea of a new, entertaining video published by both actors on Instagram. Tiger Shroff opens the video by performing Jeda Nasha, a song from An Action Hero, inside the gym. “Acting ke saath gaana gaake tu mere pete pe kyu laat mar raha hai?” Ayushmann asks. (Why are you singing and acting in my genre?).” Tiger responds, “Tu bhi toh An Action Hero kar raha hai na (Well, aren’t you also doing An Action Hero?)”
Tiger Shroff then dares Ayushmann Khurrana to demonstrate how much he has learned while working on the action picture. When you assume the video would feature a great face-off between the two actors, you’re wrong. They’re seen settling the issue over a game of thumb war.
The caption said, “Two action heroes apni heropanti dikhate hue.” “See #AnActionHero in theatres this Friday.” Ayushmann’s brother, actor Aparshakti Khurana, responded to the tweet with a fire emoji. Meanwhile, actor-choreographer Shakti Mohan tweeted with laughing emojis, “Hope no one was hurt in this fight.”
During the marketing of An Action Hero, Ayushmann Khurrana also published a post expressing his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan. From the sunroof of his automobile, he may be seen glancing at Mannat, SRK’s Mumbai home. “Mannat se guzar raha tha,” Ayushmann remarked in the caption. Toh maang li ek mannat. (I was passing by Mannat and stopped to make a wish.) #SRKian #AnActionHero #2ndDecember.”
Ayushmann Khurrana also discussed the underwhelming box office results of one of his most recent films, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. According to OTT Play, Ayushmann stated, “I started with movies about taboo issues.” I’m guessing the type of subjects—it has to be a community screening, and it has to be a larger film—the youngsters have also been watching. In reality, my previous three films, including an LGBTQ feature (Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui), have performed poorly economically because our society is homophobic.”
Ayushmann Khurrana remarked of his career, “I think I’m unbreakable.” I will become conventional if I stop taking risks. I’ve always been unusual, and I make those decisions for myself. I shall continue to take them in the future, whether I succeed or fail. I just keep pushing the boundaries, which is also the beauty of the film budgeting. My films are typically low- to mid-budget, which means no one loses money and I can afford to take chances.”
An Action Hero, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat, will be released in theatres on December 2.
