Thiruchitrambalam: Thaai Kelvai song from Dhanush’s next lands in trouble

The next movie Dhanush will star in is the family drama Thiruchitrambalam. This year’s most anticipated movie, which was directed by Mithran Jawahar, is slated to hit theatres on August 18. Songs have a significant role in the film because it is a musical. Thaai Kelvai, a freshly released drama tune, is having problems, nevertheless. Recently, there have been allegations regarding the song’s lyrics.

Despite the fact that the song’s lyrics appear upbeat, a social activist has complained to the Thiruchitrambalam producers, demanding that they modify the song’s lyrics. The lawsuit further claims that these lyrics show disdain for senior citizens. Dhanush wrote the lyrics and contributed his vocals to the Thaai Kelvai song, which was scored by renowned musician Anirudh Ravichander.

After a seven-year separation, Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander have teamed together for Thiruchitrambalam. Nithya Menon, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Raashi Khanna, Bharathiraja, and Prakash Raj, among others, will be seen playing significant parts in this comedy film, which is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the label Sun Pictures.

Characters played by Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Raashii Khanna were first unveiled in special posters by the filmmakers. Thiruchitrambalam was originally slated to visit theatres on July 28 of this year, but it will now be released on August 17.

With his upcoming film, Dhanush is returning to the big screen for the first time in more than a year, and moviegoers can’t wait to witness his magic once again. For those who are unaware, his most recent film was the drama Karnan from 2021. The film had his best opening of his career. After that, the star did, however, have three OTT releases: Jagame Thanthiram, Maaran, and Atrangi Re.
