The film is getting ready for a big premiere on June 3, and to keep the excitement going, the creators recently released the opening song, Pathala Pathala. Yes! You read that correctly. According to the Times of India, a social activist claims that the lyrics of Pathala Pathala criticize the central government and foster discord among the people. As a result, a case has been filed against Kamal Haasan at the Police Commissioner’s office in Chennai, seeking that the film’s crew delete specific words from the song. In addition, the activist has decided to submit a plea in the Madras High Court requesting a stay of execution for Vikram if no action is taken on his latest complaint.

Meanwhile, the controversial lyrics from the song are “Gajjanaale Kaasille Kallaiyum Kaasille Kaaichal Joram Neraiya Varudhu Thillalangadi Thillale Ondriyathin Thapaalae Onniyum Illa Ippaale Saavi Ipo Thirudan Kaila Thillalangadi Thillale.” The song has performed well across all musical platforms, with fans enjoying Kamal Haasan’s native Madras vernacular. Pathala Pathala has garnered over 14 million views and 770K+ likes, and it has been trending at the top.
