The opportunity to work with Ravi Teja in a comedy like Dhamaka is a dream come true: Sreeleela
Sreeleela is very enthusiastic about playing a part in Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka. “This is a straight-up commercial movie. I portray Pranavi, a girl next door, and the character allowed me to display a variety of emotions. The cherry on top was that I also got to demonstrate my dance abilities, according to the actress.
Sreeleela plays a girl divided between the lookalikes, and The Mass Maharaja plays a dual role in the film. “I’m most grateful that the producers believed so much in me that they gave me the part even before I made my acting debut in Pelli SandaD. Ten minutes into the story, I gave the director Trinadha Rao my yes. Everyone will laugh out loud at the fantastic plot, she claims.
Working with Ravi Teja was a fantastic experience, according to her. “I was very nervous, but he quickly put me at ease. Working with him is a dream come true for me. “There’s never a dull moment when he’s around,” she says, adding, “I’ve learned so much. His enthusiasm and dedication are admirable. In fact, he danced to Danda Kadiyal while sporting 12 stitches on his leg; it taught me a lot about focus and work ethic.”
Dhamaka, produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla under the brand of People Media Factory, will be released tomorrow. “I’m hoping for a dhamaka at the box office as well,” she says before signing off.
