On May 28, India will play Jordan in a friendly match… Igor Stimac, the head coach of the Indian football team, has chosen a 25-man squad for India’s forthcoming friendly match against Jordan. The Blue Tigers will play the friendly encounter on May 28 in Doha, Qatar, as part of their preparations for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup third-round qualifiers in 2023. The Blue Tigers have been practicing for the qualifications under Stimac’s guidance since the beginning of the month, first in Bellary and then in Kolkata.
The Blue Tigers also played three practice matches in Kolkata, against ATK Mohun Bagan (lost 1-2), the I-League All-Stars XI (won 2-0), and the Bengal Santosh Trophy team (drew 1-1). They played two international friendlies in Bahrain in March, losing 2-1 to Bahrain and 3-0 against Belarus. The Blue Tigers will travel to Doha on May 25 to continue their preparations for the friendly against Jordan.
