Thalapathy Vijay’s 66th film has Rashmika Mandanna on board.

Vijay, the Tamil superstar, has a sizable social media following. In 2021, the actor teamed up with Vamshi Paidipally, a national award-winning filmmaker, for the latter’s 66th film, Thalapathy 66. (tentative). The makers of Sri Venkateswara Creations, which is backed by Dil Raju and Shirish, have made yet another announcement. Rashmika Mandanna has been cast in Vijay’s next film.

On the occasion of the actor’s birthday, the announcement was made public. The producing company announced it on Twitter.” Wishing the talented and gorgeous @iamRashmika a very Happy Birthday ! Welcome onboard #Thalapathy66 @actorvijay @directorvamshi #RashmikaJoinsThalapathy66″. Rashmika will be working with  Vijay and Sri Venkateswara Creations for the first time.


Vijay is now preparing for the release of his film Beast. On April 13, the film, which also stars Pooja Hegde, will be released. Other big releases that will conflict with the film include Prashant Neel’s directorial KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and others. With only a few days till  Vijay’s next highly awaited film, Beast, is set to hit theatres, it appears like the filmmakers are having some difficulties.

Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, and Fil, said on Twitter that Vijay’s Beast is banned in Kuwait. According to the tweet, Beast is banned by the Ministry of Information in Kuwait Reason could be Portrayal of Pak, Terrorists or Violence Recently Indian Movies #Kurup and FIR were banned in Kuwait Of late, Kuwait Censor is becoming very strict in GCC compared to other countries in the region.

Rashmika Mandanna, on the other hand, is ready to make her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu. In the film, which is planned to hit theatres on June 10, 2022, the actor will share screen time alongside Sidharth Malhotra. Alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the Pushpa star will appear in Goodbye. She has a number of additional projects in the works, including Animal, Pushpa: The Rule, and SK 21.
