Thalapathy Vijay makes a visit to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao while filming Thalapathy 66 in Hyderabad.
Actor Vijay, who is presently filming Thalapathy 66 with filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally, paid a courtesy call on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday. According to trustworthy sources, Vijay and Vamshi met with the CM as a courtesy call.
Vijay, who most recently appeared in the Tamil film Beast, is gearing up for his television debut with this multilingual production alongside filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally. Thalapathy 66 is the working title for the untitled film.
SS Thaman has finished the film’s score and will be working on Vijay’s project for the first time. Rashmika Mandanna, Sarath Kumar, Sangeetha, Yogi Babu, Shaam, and Srikanth are among those involved in the project. The movie will be released later this year. When this project is over, Vijay will work on a new project alongside Master Director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Vijay was most recently featured in Nelson’s Beast, where he played a R & AW officer on a rescue operation to save civilians from a kidnapped mall. Beast, a Die-Hard-inspired thriller, was released in theatres on April 13 and grossed $200 million at the box office, despite generally poor and unfavourable reviews.
Filming is now taking place in Hyderabad. When Vijay met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at Pragati Bhavan, the Prime Minister’s official residence, KCR bestowed a shawl on him. Social media has been flooded with photos from the encounter. Because Vijay has been preparing his political effort for quite some time, the encounter prompted conjecture in political circles.
