Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next film will begin production and will be shot in Kashmir.
Thalapathy, Master Vijay will reconnect with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj for another project, in which he would portray a criminal in his 40s with a salt and pepper appearance. We then learned that Sanjay Dutt would portray one of the antagonists in Thalapathy 67. We now have another update on this eagerly anticipated flick. According to a source close to the project, Vijay will begin filming in January.
“Lokesh Kanagaraj has completed the script for Thalapathy 67 and has began pre-production activities.” A significant section of the film will be shot in Kashmir, which was just scouted. The film was supposed to be shot in Munnar at first, but they have now decided on Kashmir. “Don’t be shocked if they start with a short timetable a little sooner as well,” said a person close to the project. According to reports, Trisha is also in the flick.
Meanwhile, we had reported that Sanjay Dutt is getting paid a whopping Rs 10 crore to appear in Thalapathy 67. According to reports, it would be a pan-India release, as Lokesh Kanagaraj has gained popularity in the Northern belt following the release of Vikram, and is now preparing to take things to the next level with Vijay’s next.
Lokesh Kanagaraj’s last film, Vikram, was released in June of this year and starred Kamal Haasan. Fahadh Faasil, Vijay Sethupathi, and Suriya had major parts in the 2022 Tamil action-thriller.
