Suriya’s Jai Bhim receives five Vikatan Awards, including best picture and best actor.

Jai Bhim took up the top prize at the Vikatan Awards. It was nominated for Best Film, Best Actor for Suriya, and Best Actress for Lijomol Jose.

Suriya’s critically acclaimed Tamil film Jai Bhim continues to win major awards. After winning best picture at the Filmfare Awards South, the film has now won five Vikatan Awards, including best actor for Suriya and best film.

TJ Gnanavel’s Jai Bhim is a hard-hitting courtroom drama about the fight for the oppressed and caste inequality. Suriya plays real-life lawyer Chandru, who dedicated his life to fighting for the disadvantaged without charging a single money.

Vikatan is a well-known Tamil weekly magazine. The prizes were first presented a few years ago. They announced the winners on Twitter.

Jai Bhim also won best actress for Lijomol Jose, best supporting actress for Urvashi, and best director for TJ Gnanavel.

Rajasekar Pandian, the film’s producer, has announced that the sequel is in the planning stages. Pandian confirmed the sequel concept in an interview with India Today. “Yes, Jai Bhim 2 is unquestionably occurring, as I stated at the film festival. We (2D Entertainment) are now working on a feature with TJ Gnanavel, although it is a different script. We’ll start working on Jai Bhim 2 after he finishes this project. The sequel to Jai Bhim is currently in the concept stage. It necessitates much planning and investigation. And there are many stories about Justice Chandru that need to be shared,” he said, according to the report.But before this project can go into production, director Gnanavel must finish another project for 2D Entertainment.

Suriya was most recently seen in a cameo appearance in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, which was released earlier this year and grossed over 400 crore globally. The actor has discussed the potential of making a film based on his well-known character Rolex from Vikram. Suriya’s cameo as criminal boss Rolex in Vikram was one of the film’s major highlights, and it was well received by the crowd. He stated that if the project came to him, he would do it.
