SHRUTI HAASAN’S REVEALS CAST AND CREW DETAILS FOR FIRST INTERNATIONAL FILM!

Shruti Haasan, Ulaganayagan Kaml Haasan’s daughter, is pursuing a new career path. She has formally started filming for her maiden venture abroad. In “The Eye.” The psychological thriller, which is produced by Fingerprint Content and written and directed by Emily Carlton and Daphne Schmon, stars Mark Rowley from The Last Kingdom opposite Shruti, who has already started filming in Athens and Corfu.

The psychological suspense novel The Eye tells the tale of a widow who visits a Greek island to scatter her husband’s ashes. Along with Haasan and Rowley, other actors who will appear in the movie include Linda Marlowe from “The Duchess,” Anna Savva from “True Horror,” and others.

Shruti remarked: “My lifelong goal has been to tell stories through music, lyrics, and the visual art form of film. The idea of expanding that net and having the ability to do so globally is really exciting. It’s amazing to be a part of such a beautiful team, especially one that is managed by such a talented female. It’s a lovely tale, and I feel quite honoured to tell it to others.”

Shruti made headlines across the world after making her acting debut in the American action series “Treadstone,” in which she also has a recurring part. This is her first overseas film. The Bourne movie series is what the show is to. She was in charge of yet another multinational initiative many years prior, but it was not what you might anticipate. The narration for Elsa in the 2019 musical fantasy film “Frozen 2” in Tamil was provided by Shruti. Shruti recently contributed her voice to the global audio drama “Sandman: Act III.”
