Shah Rukh Khan responds to Jawan director Atlee’s compliments for the Pathaan trailer: ‘It means… if you enjoyed it.’

Atlee, the director of Jawan, is ecstatic about Shah Rukh Khan’s performance in Pathaan. After predicting the film’s fate, the actor tweeted him his affection.

It’s been more than a day since Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan teaser was published, yet it appears that people are still reeling from it. Late to the party, filmmaker Atlee resorted to Twitter to compliment Shah Rukh for his action role in the film. Following Pathaan, the actor will appear in Atlee’s next film, Jawan.

“Wow!” exclaimed Atlee in a tweet. @iamsrk ur the king of the masses sir feeling delighted and proud to see u in this avatar sir compliments to Sid sir and Adhi sir @yrf @deepikapadukone thanks to the entire Pathaan team.” Shah Rukh responded by congratulating him and referring to him as the “king of mass” cinema.

“Thank you, sir,” he said. You being the ruler of the masses…if you enjoyed it, that means a lot.”I adore you.” As the release date of Pathaan approaches, Shah Rukh has been active on Twitter. On January 25, the Siddharth Anand-directed movie will be released. John Abraham and Deepika Padukone are also featured in the film.

Yash Raj Films published the Pathaan official trailer on Tuesday. The nearly two-minute trailer begins with a terrorist cell commanded by John Abraham announcing an attack on India. Pathaan, played by Shah Rukh Khan, is tasked with assassinating John. Deepika Padukone, who is also a soldier, is seen assisting Shah Rukh in his mission.

Pathaan is Deepika and Shah Rukh’s fourth film together, following Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year, and Chennai Express. It’s also a comeback project for him, as it’s his first full-length picture in nearly four years. Zero, in which he co-starred with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, was a box office flop. Shah Rukh made a cameo appearance in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra last year.

Along with Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh has Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. For the first time, he appears alongside Taapsee Pannu. He had already shot the film in Saudi Arabia and London. JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films are all involved. Dunki will hit theatres on December 22, 2023.
