Shah Rukh Khan mouths Pathaan’s dialogue at Kolkata International Film Festival
There is no need to introduce Shah Rukh Khan. The actor has appeared in a number of successful Bollywood films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Baazigar, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Chennai Express. On Thursday evening, Shah Rukh attended the Kolkata International Film Festival 2022 (KIFF). He spoke on social media toxicity, cancel culture, and much more at the event. Rani Mukerji, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Arijit Singh accompanied Shah Rukh.
Shah Rukh also spoke about the dialogue from his upcoming film Pathaan, which was the festival’s primary attraction. “Apni kursi ki peti baandh lijiye,” he can be heard saying. Bigadne wala hai mausam. Aap log se mil nahi paaye hai aur kuch dino see hum yaha nahi aaye hai. Normal ho gayi hai ab duniya jo hai. Khush hai, sab khush hai. Sab se zyada khush hu ki duniya kuchh bhi kar le main aur aap log aur jitne bhi positive log hai, sabke sab zinda hai.”
The crowd was ecstatic, and they could be heard shouting for him loudly. Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee presided over the opening of the major film festival.
Pathaan, on the other hand, stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in addition to Shah Rukh. Siddharth Anand directs the action thriller flick. Pathaan is one of the year’s most anticipated films. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on January 25, 2023.
