Sanjay Dutt wants to work more in South films after KGF 2.
Sanjay Dutt made an incredible comeback into films after beating cancer with KGF 2 starring Yash. He portrayed the adversary, and his performance was praised by everybody. The film also went on to become one of 2022’s biggest hits. He will now appear in filmmaker Prem’s forthcoming pan-Indian film KD – The Devil, which stars Kannada actress Dhruva Sarja. Sanjay Dutt declared his desire to work more in south films in a new interview.
On Thursday, the actor debuted the Hindi trailer for KD – The Devil in Bengaluru, saying he is excited to play a major part in the film. He also stated that he expects to perform more in south Indian films. The actor was most recently featured in Shamshera, which also starred Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor. However, the picture ended up being one of the worst flops.
“KD has a fantastic teaser. I am aware of one thing that I have done. KGF and SS Rajamouli sir are close friends. I see a lot of emotion, love, energy, and heroism in Southern cinema. That is something I believe we should learn in Mumbai. “Bollywood must not lose sight of its origins,” Sanjay stated during the ceremony. His statements made us question if he had lost trust in Bollywood films following a string of disappointments.
A number of celebrities, including Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Sandalwood actor Dhruva Sarja, filmmaker Prem, producer Suprith, Kannada cinema actress Rakshitha, and music director Arjun Janya, attended the event. While director Prem provided the Kannada teaser, Sanjay Dutt, Vijay Sethupathi, and Mohanlal provided the Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam versions, respectively.
The title teaser provides a look into the antiquated world depicted in KD – The Devil. The teaser shows the first glimpse of Dhruva Sarja’s character, Kaali. The title teaser showcases a brutal setting with high-octane action.
