The Yashoda actress seldom skips a day at the gym and frequently posts photos of her strenuous exercises on Instagram. She came to Instagram in November 2020 to share her unique transformation story with the plant-based diet.
She posted a video of her workout routine and stated, “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all. #day2ofplantbasedtransformation with @krishna__vikas…Breaking the myth that one cannot enhance their performance, build lean muscle etc on a plant-based diet…
Let’s do this.”
Director Rahul Ravindran gives Samantha a personalised present.
Meanwhile, Samantha just got a bespoke present from Rahul Ravindran, the director of Moscowin Kaveri. The director presented her with a plaque inscribed with the words “Woman of Steel… The tunnel is black, with no end in sight. The light was promised, but there is no trace of it. Your feet are heavy, yet you pull them as hard as you can. You fight on, putting out your doubts and fears. You’re built of steel, and conquering is in your blood. You will not be rejected, and these delays are acceptable since quitters do not win fights; only warriors like you do… Because what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger than you were before… And stronger for all time.”
Samantha’s next professional project after Yashoda will be the mythical drama Shaakuntalam. The actress will play Princess Shakuntala in the film, directed by Gunasekhar, alongside Dev Mohan as King Dushyanta and Allu Arha as Prince Bharat. Aditi Balan will play Anasuya, Ananya Nagalla will play Priyamvada, Gautami will play Gautamil, Malhotra Shivam will play Mahipala, Kabir Duhan Singh will play King Asura, Madhoo will play Menaka, Jisshu Sengupta, Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi, and Varshini Sounderajan will play Varshini Sounderajan.
