India's Samantha Boards 'Arrangements of Love' Cast - Variety

The series, directed by movie team Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, will star Varun Dhawan alongside Samantha. We previously heard that these two would conduct high-octane action stunts as part of their roles, and that they are even training in martial arts to do so. According to rumours, they will also have a Hollywood stunt director on the crew. “Both Varun and Samantha are expected to have a toned body for Citadel and have already begun exercising on it,” a source told us. Meanwhile, they will begin their martial arts training in late August, with the show anticipated to premiere in late September or early October. The training will last around one month. Raj and DK are now fine-tuning the screenplay and will begin the casting process for the supporting cast in August. The producers are also bringing in a Hollywood action director to choreograph the show’s big combat sequences.”

Furthermore, the project would be set in the 1990s, according to reports. According to a source close to the project, “Citadel India is set in the 1990s.” In fact, the creators experiment with two timelines: the beginning and end of the 1990s. A unique outfit is being developed for Varun and Samantha, as both actors hope to begin sessions in early November.”
