Samantha Ruth Prabhu acted as a pillar during the filming of Shaakuntalam.
Shaakuntalam, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s forthcoming mythological drama, is planned to be released on February 17 in all five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Samantha, as we all know, has found her way into the hearts of the public in unusual ways. She went to great lengths to get under the skin of Shaakuntalam as well. Pinkvilla has exclusively revealed that Sam attended seminars with renowned performing arts expert Mrs. Aruna Bikshu in order to master the traditional movements.

She studied with famous performing arts specialist Aruna Bikshu and participated in seminars with her. Samantha acted as a pillar during the filming of Shaakuntalam, when Covid was at its pinnacle. She was known for being a perfectionist, and she even shot at the peak second wave of covid, so that production would not be delayed and shots on such large sets would not be halted “The source is added.
Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna, stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu as Shakuntala, Malayalam actor Dev Mohan as Dushyanta, and Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, Mohan Babu, and Gautami in supporting parts.
Meanwhile, rumours about Samantha taking a protracted hiatus from work recently swept social media. Putting all rumours aside, the actress is back at work and is presently filming Citadel India in Mumbai with Varun Dhawan. Samantha’s next projects include Kushi, a film co-starring Vijay Deverakonda.
