Salman Khan has revealed that the release of Radhe could be postponed until the next Eid.
Salman Khan has given an update on the release date of his film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, stating that it could be pushed back to the following year. This is what he thought.
Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, directed by Prabhu Deva and starring Salman Khan and Disha Patani, is one of the year’s most awaited films. The film is set to be released this Eid, on May 13. However, due to a significant increase in coronavirus cases and the limitations placed, as a result, many filmmakers have opted to delay the release date of their films. Rohit Shetty had also delayed the release of his upcoming film Sooryavanshi, which was scheduled for April of this year.
Though there have been reports that Radhe might not see the light of day this year, Salman has provided an update.“We are still doing our best to release Radhe on Eid but if this lockout continues, we may have to force it to the next Eid,” Kabir Bedi said at the virtual cover launch of his memoir ‘Stories I Must Tell: The Emotional Life of an Actor.’But, if the cases decrease and people take care of themselves by wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and abiding by the laws that the government has imposed, I believe this will go away quickly, and if it does, we will see Radhe in theatres on Eid.”
Furthermore, Salman said that if COVID cases begin to climb, it would not only be a challenge for theatre operators, but also for everyday wage jobs.
In addition to Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff, Radhe features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in crucial roles. Salman, his brother Sohail Khan, and his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri co-produced the upcoming thriller.
