Rakul Preet Singh discusses why she isn’t shooting Telugu films.
Rakul Preet Singh, one of Tollywood’s most popular and bankable actresses, has just gone missing. The actress is quite busy in Bollywood and hasn’t done many Telugu films. Rakul Preet Singh disclosed why she is no longer shooting Telugu films in a conversation with her followers on social media today.
Rakul Preet Singh spoke up to followers on Instagram in an interactive session on why she isn’t shooting Telugu films. When a viewer inquired why she isn’t shooting a Telugu film, the actress answered in a video message, “Many of you have asked me this question, and I am aware that I have not been able to make a Telugu film. But not for long. And I adore my Telugu fans, and I often claim that the Telugu cinema business is responsible for who I am now. So maybe something next year.”
Rakul Preet Singh made her Telugu debut in 2011 with the film Keratam and quickly established herself as a bankable actor. Venkatadri Express (2013), Loukyam (2014), Pandaga Chesko (2015), Sarrainodu (2016), Dhruva (2016), Rarandoi Veduka Chudham (2017), and Spyder were among her many successes in Telugu and Tamil.
Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Nithiin’s Check and Panja Vaisshnav Tej’s Kondapolam, both in 2020 and 2021. She then appeared in Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. However, it is unknown whether she is still in the picture. There has been no news about her participation in the film. The shoot has just resumed after a two-year hiatus owing to a variety of factors. Kamal Haasan just joined the set and is presently filming for the first schedule. Kajal Aggarwal is also in the film and is learning to ride horses. She is anticipated to join the shoot shortly.
Rakul Preet Singh also has a Tamil film named Ayalan starring Sivakarthikeyan that has yet to be released. Although the filming was completed in 2021, it is unknown why the film has yet to be released. R. Ravikumar wrote and directed Ayalaan, while AR Rahman provided the soundtrack.
