Raghava Lawrence meets and gets blessings from ‘guru’ Rajinikanth before beginning filming for Chandramukhi 2.
Raghava Lawrence, a filmmaker and actor, will play the major character in the sequel to Rajinikanth’s critically acclaimed film Chandramukhi. Today, as he begins filming for Chandramukhi 2, he visited Rajinikanth at his home and received blessings. Raghava also uploaded photos with the Superstar in which he was hugging and smiling.
Raghava Lawrence came to Twitter to post photos of himself with Rajinikanth, writing, “Hi friends and followers,The actor’s wonderful gesture as he begins filming for the sequel is winning hearts on the internet. Fans have also taken to the comment section to express their best wishes to the actor for the sequel.
P Vasu, who directed the first film, will also direct the sequel. Raghava Lawrence and actor-comedian Vadivelu will play the key roles in the sequel. Music will be composed by MM Keeravani, while the camera will be handled by RD Rajasekhar and the production design will be handled by Thotta Tharani. Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu, who played Murugesan in the first film, will reprise his role in the sequel.
Chadramukhi 2 has great hopes because it is the sequel of Rajinikanth’s classic film of the same name, which was released in Telugu and Tamil in 2005 and became a huge smash hit. For the uninitiated, Tamil film Chandramukhi was a remake of the 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu, which was recently recreated in Hindi as Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The sequels to this film have never failed to impress spectators, even after many years, so it would be interesting to see if Chandramukhi 2 can duplicate the enchantment.
