Raayan, Dhanush’s second film under his direction, is based in North Madras.
One of the South’s many great performers, Dhanush made his directorial debut in 2017 with the film “Pa Paandi.” And according to the most recent reports, Dhanush is currently preparing for his second directorial project, which is supposed to be called “Raayan.” The key actors of the movie are supposedly Vishnu Vishal, SJ Suryah, Kalidas Jayaram, and Dushara Vijayan.
The story claims that the movie is set against a backdrop of North Madras. The film’s shooting is scheduled to start in April, and Dhanush will also have a longer appearance than in his debut directorial.
It appears that Dhanush, unlike his fans, was unable to successfully transcend Vetri Maaran’s film “Vada Chennai,” which may be why the multifaceted star decided to base his second directorial on a story set in North Madras.
It’s also important to note that Kalaipuli S Thanu, the producer of Dhanush’s “Naane Varuven,” stated during the 2022 film’s promotion that filmmaker Selvaraghavan has a potent gangster drama titled “Raayan” that would be made by a different production company. Selvaraghavan, Dhanush’s older brother, may therefore claim authorship of the “Raayan” tale.
However, it will be a high-budget action film by Dhanush, and the official announcement for “Raayan” is anticipated to happen shortly.
Arun Matheswaran’s film “Captain Miller,” in which Dhanush is currently acting, is currently filming continuously in the woodland area of Tamil Nadu’s Tenkasi district. The busy actor is anticipated to wrap up the bulk of “Captain Miller” filming by April, when he intends to start work on his second directorial.
