Priya Bhavani, a Tamil actress, explains her decision to enter the industry.

Priya Bhavani Shankar, a Tamil actress, has made a name for herself in the business thanks to her standout performances in movies like Kuruthi Aattam, Yaanai, and Thiruchitrambalam. The 33-year-old has achieved popularity and is now one of the most in-demand actresses in the business. It hasn’t been an easy road for Priya to get from being an actress in daily soaps to making her debut in the Tamil movie Meyaadha Maan. The Tamil actress discussed her tough road to stardom in an interview with a local media portal, according to a report by ETimes. Priya emphasised that she only worked in movies for money during her early years in the film business.

Priya has also been roped in as the female lead in Demonte Colony 2, Rudhran, Indian 2, and Bommai.

Priya reportedly admitted during the conversation that the sole reason she got into acting was because she believed movie actresses made more money than actors on television. Her sole motivation for making her film debut was to increase her income. Priya remarked, “I thought acting brought in money.

The Oh Manapenne actress noted that because she doesn’t come from a film background and has no ties in the industry, she had to work really hard and put in a lot of effort to land a job in a movie. Priya first entered the film industry simply for the purpose of making a good living, but her goals have since changed. The actress declared that she wants to be a part of good movies with strong scripts going forward.

Priya last appeared opposite Tamil superstar Dhanush in Mithran R. Jawahar’s Thiruchitrambalam. Later, the movie received a lot of praise from reviewers and viewers alike. The Tamil beauty has an impressive slate of upcoming movies. She is excited for the debut of Agilan, a film directed by Obeli N Krishna and featuring N Kalyanakrishnan and Pathu Thala.
