Pooja Hegde discusses working on Chiranjeevi’s film, saying it “fulfilled a long-held desire.”

Pooja Hegde is without a doubt one of the most famous actresses in Telugu cinema right now. This Kannada beauty made her Telugu debut with Oka Laila Kosam (2014), opposite Naga Chaitanya, and rose to prominence with a string of successful films opposite top stars. The actress will next be seen in the Telugu film Acharya, which co-stars the father-son pair Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan.

Pooja Hegde said that the opportunity to be a part of the film was a dream come true for her. The actress further stated that she had always wanted to work with Chiranjeevi, and her wish has come true with Koratala Siva’s Acharya. “Acharya is like a dream come true for me since it has been a long-standing goal of mine to share screen space with Chiranjeevi Garu,” Pooja Hegde was quoted as saying by Bollywood Life.

Pooja Hegde will be seen in a non-glam role for the first time, as Neelambari, the love interest of Ram Charan’s character.

Acharya is one of the year’s most anticipated films, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi as a carpenter turned social reformer who stains the country crimson with the blood of wicked people and seeks justice for the innocent. Ram Charan shares screen time with his father, Chiranjeevi, and plays Siddha, who is lured to the rebellious movement. While Kajal Aggarwal plays the leading heroine, Sonu Sood plays an adversary, while Jisshu Sengupta plays a vital character. The new release date following the second wave of the coronavirus has yet to be disclosed and is being funded by Ram Charan and Anvesh Reddy.
