PM Modi said at a meeting of international investors in Karnataka that “red carpet instead of red tape”

The state’s global investors meet aims to showcase the abundant possibilities Karnataka provides and draw in new investors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the opening remarks during the three-day “Invest Karnataka 2022″ forum on Wednesday via video conference. Speaking at the occasion, the prime leader claimed that rather than snare investors in a web of red tape, the government had rolled out the red carpet for them.

For our investors, we’ve rolled out the red carpet of opportunity and cut the red tape for them. We rationalised them rather than enacting new, confusing laws,” said PM Modi.
