PM Modi inquires about the health of T.N. CM Stalin.

On Friday, July 15, 2022, a day after Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin was hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called the CM to inquire about his health.
According to an official announcement, during the phone, the CM thanked the PM for inquiring about his health and stated that he was healing. Mr. Stalin also invited Mr. Modi to the opening ceremony of the 44th International Chess Olympiad, which will take place in Mamallapuram on July 28.
The Chief Minister also informed the Prime Minister that, while he had planned to visit him in person in New Delhi to invite him to the inauguration, he was unable to do so due to his hospitalisation.
A team led by MPs T.R. Baalu and Kanimozhi, as well as the Minister for Sports Development and Youth Welfare and the Chief Secretary, will meet with the Prime Minister to invite him to the 44th International Chess Olympiad.
Mr. Stalin announced on social media on July 12 that he had tested positive with COVID-19, and two days later he was hospitalised to a private hospital in Alwarpet, Chennai.
