Nepotism in Bollywood, according to Saiee Manjrekar, is a reality.

Saiee stated that she agrees with anyone who claims that she has profited from her father’s involvement in the film industry.

Saiee Manjrekar, the daughter of filmmaker-turned-actor Mahesh Manjrekar, made her Bollywood debut in Dabangg 3 alongside Salman Khan. She has also appeared in a few Telugu films following her appearance in the third instalment of Dabangg. Saiee, like practically every other celebrity youngster, experienced a lot of hostility as a result of the ‘insider versus outsider’ controversy. Much of today’s Bollywood stars are the sons and daughters of past cinema giants, and the nepotism controversy has raged for several years.

However, while most celebrity children deny receiving any benefits as a result of their renowned parents, Saiee Manjrekar’s reaction to the subject is perplexing. During an interview with the Hindustan Times, Saiee stated that she agrees with anyone who claims that she has profited by her father’s involvement in the film industry. “I acknowledge the advantages that come with being from the industry.” “But I still want to work for myself,” the 24-year-old actress explained.

Saiee also claimed that nepotism is a fact in the industry and that she got a break easier than others. She is grateful for the same. “There will be someone else working 10 times harder to be where I am right now, therefore I have to work even harder to stay where I am,” the Major star remarked.

Saiee even discussed the stereotypes that celebrity children experience. She cited the example of how, before she got into movies, folks at family gatherings assumed she was dieting. “Then people I’ve known forever started thinking, ‘Saiee is going to grow haughty and change, have an air about her,'” Saiee continued. That is a stereotype that has been ingrained in people’s brains. It’s quite difficult to break free.”

Saiee Manjrekar will be seen in Kuch Khatta Ho Jaye in the near future. In addition to her, singer-actor Guru Randhawa and Anupam Kher play significant roles in the next film.
