MK Stalin, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, and DMK leader launched his dream project ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ at a gathering at the Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai yesterday as he celebrated his 69th birthday. The Chief Minister remarked at the initiative’s opening that the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ project is his dream project and that it strives to make students and young ‘The First.’
The following are some of the highlights of the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ project:
The main goal of the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ project, according to the official release, is to provide 10 lakh youth across Tamil Nadu with education, knowledge, skills, and energy each year to help them realise their talents for the benefit of the country.
The new project is a skill development and guidance programme for school and college students, as well as Tamil Nadu’s youth, to help them succeed not only in school but in life.
Students will gain a better understanding of Tamil culture and heritage. Training will be provided in both in-person and virtual classes, and a counseling bureau will be established in each of the state’s schools.
Each school will have its own mentorship center. For this, a distinct curriculum will be designed, as well as a series of classes for students in grades 9 through 12.
For pupils studying in government schools, a mentorship system would be implemented. The programme will make it easier to teach foreign languages to college students who want to work in other countries. Industry 4.0 will be implemented at Government Vocational Training Centers.
This series of training will secure admission to the country’s top institutions/reputable universities/skill development institutes based on the students’ credentials and interests. Under the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ system, positions in Tamil Nadu government agencies and institutions, federal government jobs, and jobs in other states would be advertised as announcements, and training will be coordinated. The employment and retention of trained recipients will be closely tracked. In addition, based on the needs, integrated job camps will be held.
A site will be built with all of the information on the ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ project. The new initiative will be coordinated by the Special Program Implementation Department, which is under the direct supervision of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister.
According to reports, the scheme will be implemented in 20 districts by a committee led by district collectors. During the event, Chief Minister MK Stalin also launched the website naanmudhalvan.tnschools.gov.in.
