Suresh Kamatchi, the producer of Maanaadu, announced the reason for the delay on Twitter. Suresh wrote in a tweet that he is disappointed to reveal that Maanaadu’s first song will be delayed by a few days. He went on to say that the album will be released during Ramadan because it promotes “Islamic ties.”Suresh ended his tweet by stating that the postponement decision was made after director Venkat Prabhu’s mother passed away on May 9. Prabhu’s mother is said to have died as a result of age-related problems. Venkat Prabhu, the director of Maanaadu, is the son of Gangai Amaran, a legendary music composer and director. Venkat Prabhu is also the brother of Premgi Amaran, a comedian. Premgi Amaran is also a cast member of STR’s Maanaadu.

STR’s Maanaadu dubbing began on May 6. It’s fair to conclude that the film’s filming is over now that dubbing has started.
