Laal Singh Chaddha: Naga Chaitanya’s character Balaraju in Aamir Khan’s film has a connection to his grandfather.
Naga Chaitanya is slated to make his Bollywood debut in Aamir Khan’s next film Laal Singh Chaddha. In the film, the actor will play the part of Balaraju, an army general. While his first look and behind-the-scenes photos from the film went viral, the creators revealed a behind-the-scenes video of Naga Chaitanya’s journey as Balaraju.
The special video documenting Naga Chaitanya’s journey as Balaraju in Aamir Khan’s reveals that his character has a special connection with his grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Naga Chaitanya’s look for the film was inspired by his grandfather’s Balaraju film. ANR in Laal Singh Chaddha inspired his stylish moustache and South Indian dhoti. Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya also spoke about their experiences working together on the film.
Aamir Khan also praised Naga Chaitanya, saying his clan should be proud of how wonderfully he was raised. Naga Chaitanya’s debut film, was described as “extremely outstanding.” The entire film depicts the process of developing everything that stands for Balaraju.
Chaitanya, who is thrilled to be working with Aamir, claimed that Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist personally phoned him to offer him the job.
