Katrina Kaif opens up on Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and on Merry Christmas featuring Vijay Sethupathi
Katrina Kaif is now promoting Gurmmeet Singh’s horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, but she also has Merry Christmas and Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3 in the works. In a recent exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the actress said that she always selects films depending on how compelling the subject is. “As you mentioned, Merry Christmas, and thank you for the opportunity to work with one of my favourite filmmakers, Sriram Raghavan.” I enjoy the suspense stories he tells. Working with a fantastic performer like Vijay (Sethupathi) and then Tiger 3,” Katrina adds.
“Working again in that series that I have so much affection for because Adi (Aditya Chopra, producer) gives Zoya’s part (her character in the film) that type of significance and importance in the action, and I adore doing action,” she continues. Of course, working with Salman again is a dream come true.” Katrina Kaif said she felt the same way about Phone Bhoot. “I quickly said yes when I heard the narrative.” “I didn’t even tell Ritesh (Sidhwani, producer), ‘Okay, let me see, give me a few days,’ because I believed this concept and tale were unique enough to be presented,” she explains.
Katrina also mentioned throughout the chat that she is unable to watch scary films. “I can’t make them out. I was unable to finish Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. I really couldn’t. I had to close my eyes. When Tabu appeared, even though I knew there was humour in it, it was quite frightening for me.”
