Karthi Remembers Heart Attack-Dead Fan Club Administrator, Aged 29

The two back-to-back movies that Tamil actor Karthi will release this year have him very excited. In addition to reprising his part as Vanthiyathevan in the highly awaited Ponniyin Selvan: 2 sequel, Karthi has also teamed together with renowned director Raju Murugan on the purported heist thriller Japan. Despite balancing a demanding schedule, Karthi has shown that he is a kind man before he is an actor.

Recently, Vinod, a 29-year-old supporter of Karthi, passed away from a heart attack. Vinod was the Actor Karthi Fan Club’s South East District Administrator. The Viruman actor paid his final respects to Vinod’s family by paying a visit to Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai. He sent Vinod’s family his sincere regrets and scattered flowers as a mark of respect for his late supporter. Karthi even spent a little period of time consoling Vinod’s family members.

Suriya, the actor brother of Karthi, had already paid his respects to Vinod at his home in the Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu. The public praised the brothers for their sterling work and applauded both Karthi and Suriya’s deeds.

Regarding Karthi’s forthcoming film, Japan, the Raj Murugan-directed film’s trailer and first look have caught the attention of moviegoers. Karthi is expected to appear in a previously unseen avatar as well as several other unique personas that are sure to delight his followers.

The 45-year-old actress is depicted longingly on a sofa in the first look poster. The background shows Karthi in a gold-framed frame, sporting a furious appearance, and accessorised with a variety of gold jewellery. Rashmika Mandanna is reportedly the lead actress in Japan as well, though the producers have not officially confirmed this.

The second Ponniyin Selvan sequel, starring Karthi, will hit theatres on April 14.
