Kajal Aggarwal explains the reason for the ‘Indian 2’ shoot delay.
It is widely reported that Kajal Aggarwal has been cast as the female lead in Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film, ‘Indian 2,’ directed by Shankar. Although filming on the film was halted due to a crane accident in February 2020, filming has yet to start despite the fact that filming had started after the COVID-19 pandemic situation for a number of reasons.
After the State Assembly Elections, Kamal Haasan is expected to start filming his next film, ‘Vikram,’ directed by Lokesh Kangaraj. Meanwhile, viewers have been asking if the much-expected sequel ‘Indian 2’ will be re-started.In a recent interview in Hyderabad, Kajal Aggarwal revealed why the filming of ‘Indian 2’ has been put on hold. According to reports, the actress claimed that most of the crew members are from the United States and are unable to fly and work in India due to COVID constraints, which is why the shoot has been halted.
Kajal had previously shared her excitement at the prospect of working with legends like Kamal Haasan and Shankar for the first time in her career. For her part in the film, the lovely actress had already learned Kalaripayattu, an Indian martial art.
Kamal Haasan will reprise his role as freedom fighter Senapathy in ‘Indian 2,’ a sequel to the hit superhero thriller of the same name. The film, which is produced by Lyca Productions, features a large star cast, with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Delhi Ganesh, Bobby Simha, and Vivek playing pivotal roles.
