Harshal Patel and Riyan Parag clashed after the RR batter hit the RCB bowling for 18 runs in the last over.

After the 20th was over, Parag and Patel got into a furious altercation. The RR batter was walking back to the pavilion when he turned around and began speaking with Harshal Patel, who was being held back by a member of the RR support staff.

Rajasthan Royals’ lone warrior, Riyan Parag, scored an unbeaten 56-run knock-off 31 balls to enable Rajasthan Royals to post a modest 144/8 against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune (April 26). Notably, in the final over of RR’s innings, Parag tore into Harshal Patel, slamming through deep square leg for four, followed by two sixes to score 18 runs from the final over.

However, things became worse after the 20th, when Parag and Patel got into a furious confrontation. The RR batter was walking back to the pavilion when he turned around and began talking to Harshal Patel, who was being held back by a member of the RR support staff. The reason for the verbal altercation is unknown, but the footage of the incident has gone viral. In terms of the game, Rajasthan’s hitters struggled to get going for a big score on a wicket that aided bowlers. But Parag stood tight at one end and burst at the finish to give Rajasthan’s tally some legitimacy and give his bowlers something to bowl at.

In the 11th over, Parag produced several eye-catching shots, such as whipping Shahbaz Ahmed over long-on for a six, followed by a four, and blasting Josh Hazlewood flat over extra cover for six in the 19th over.
Parag completed the innings by muscling a pull-over deep mid-wicket for his best-ever IPL score. The 18-run final over was a rare blemish in Bangalore’s otherwise faultless bowling effort, which included two wickets each from Hazlewood, Mohammed Siraj, and Wanindu Hasaranga.
