For THIS reason, Kamal Haasan and Shantanu Hazarika have yet to see Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, according to Shruti Haasan.

With two of her major Telugu films, Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, performing so well at the box office, Shruti Haasan is currently on cloud nine. These films, directed by KS Ravindra and Gopichand Malineni, were screened for the bulk of the audience during the Pongal/Sankranthi festival. The audience’s reactions to the movies range from negative to good. “Sankranthi was fantastic with two big film releases and I also prepared Pongal and served it to my friends and family in Mumbai, except my pet and my boyfriend Shantanu Hazarika as they don’t like it,” Shruti, who was overjoyed with the compliments, told ETimes.

The actress-singer believes that collaborating with more experienced actors allows one to pick up new skills. In the movie, she was placed opposite veteran actors Chiranjeevi and Nandmuri Balakrishna. “Not being comfortable is not the point. Working with veteran actors allows one to get a lot of knowledge from them. Moreover, working with Chiranjeevi Sir and Balayya Sir has been my most rewarding and instructive experience “Shruti said.

After a lengthy absence, Shruti Haasan returned to the big screen. She will soon make her Kannada film debut with Prashanth Neel’s “Salaar,” starring Prabhas. The actress acknowledged that she chose to work on these movies because she wanted to engage her audience, “I chose to participate in these films mostly because I wanted to return to Telugu films after a lengthy absence from the screen. Thus, these films provided me with a fantastic opportunity to engage with my audience, “Shruti stated.

Kamal Haasan, Shruti’s father, who is now working on Shankar’s upcoming movie “Indian 2,” hasn’t seen either of the two movies. Both my father, Mr. Kamal Haasan, and my boyfriend haven’t seen my flicks because they’ve been so busy with their different jobs, according to Shruti.

Although the father-daughter team did not share the screen, they did talk about movies together. Shruti concludes the chat in a very lighthearted manner, “Yes, we do talk projects, but at a very preliminary level and don’t delve much into details. And I don’t think Mr. Kamal Haasan needs my recommendation (chuckles).”

Shruti will also be in the upcoming international film “The Eye” this year. In Greece last year, the actress was filming for a similar project. Additionally, she is about to release a single.
