Economic crisis is clearly developing, writes Rahul Gandhi in a message to the public.

Senior Congressman Rahul Gandhi issued a message to Indian citizens on Friday warning of a “palpable economic crisis” developing in the nation under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government as the Bharat Jodo Yatra nears its conclusion in Kashmir.

There is a clear economic catastrophe developing, with youth unemployment, uncontrollable price increases, significant farm suffering, and a total corporate takeover of the nation’s riches. People’s earnings are decreasing, they are concerned about losing their employment, and their hopes for a better future are fading. Gandhi warned in the letter that there is a pervasive sense of pessimism throughout the nation.

The previous leader of the Congress issued a warning over an alleged assault on the nation’s plurality and diversity.

He mentioned “divisive elements” that are aiming to split the nation along religious, communal, and regional lines in a thinly-veiled dig at the BJP.

Gandhi also hailed the Congress’ upcoming Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan. (Facebook | Rahul Gandhi)

These forces, which number a small number, are aware that hatred for the “other” can only be sown when people are uneasy and afraid. The letter from him states, “However, after this Yatra, I am persuaded that this hateful agenda has its limitations and it cannot continue any longer.

Gopal Krishna Agarwal, a national BJP spokesperson, criticised Gandhi for his remarks.

Rahul Gandhi is extremely depressed and completely without hope for his future and the future of the Congress party. His unsupported statements on these topics are the result of this, he claimed.

The former Congress President declared that he would be prepared to battle “evils” wherever, including in Parliament.

A stronger rupee, cheaper diesel, a climate that is supportive of MSMEs and entrepreneurs, a gas cylinder for 500 rupees, and jobs for the unemployed youth are just a few of the assurances he reaffirmed in his commitment to bring about economic development.

Gandhi also praised the Congress for its impending Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan, which aims to promote the ideas of fraternity and unity.

Gandhi stated, “The Congress party is reaching out to you through this historic Abhiyan – lend a hand, come together to put the nation back on the path of establishing a Swarnim Bharat – where every Indian has an equal chance to fulfil their ambitions.
