Dhanush’s Naane Varuven will be released on September 29.
Dhanush’s Naane Varuven, helmed by his brother and filmmaker Selvaraghavan, is due to hit theatres this month. The actor confirmed on Twitter that the film would be released in theatres on September 29. He posted a new poster with the caption, “Naane Varuven #sep29 global.”
While Dhanush tweeted a picture of himself with an arrow, the creators published an image of Elli AvrRam’s family. The filmmakers released a poster in which Dhanush is seen lounging in a boat with his reel family. Naane Varuven will compete at the box office with Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, which is scheduled to open one day later, on September 3.
With its riveting teaser and heartbreaking theme tune, Naane Varuven has gotten a lot of attention. In this story of two identical twins whose lives are tied by fate, the talented actor provides a remarkable performance. The tale, directed by Selvaraghavan, is about a déjà vu effect between two copies.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is enjoying the success of his most recent film, Thiruchitrambalam, which was released on August 18 and was a huge success at the box office. It garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews, with most critics applauding the plot and acting. He has flicks like Vaathi and Captain Miller lined up for his next.
