Dhanush’s father responds to the actor’s decision to end his divorce with Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who announced their split in January of this year, are currently in the news for patch rumours. According to many sources, the couple decided to put off their divorce and reconcile four months after declaring their split. Kasthuri Raju, the actor’s father, broke the silence on the patch rumours.
Dhanush’s father, famous filmmaker Kasthuri Raja, responded to Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth claims. Kasthuri was asked about Dhanush and Aishwaryaa’s supposed reconciliation during an interview on the YouTube channel of the Tamil-language weekly magazine Ananda Vikatan. He refused to respond immediately, saying that he and his wife only wanted their children to “be happy.”
Since the couple announced their separation, Dhanush’s and Aishwarya’s fathers, as well as superstar Rajinikanth, have been attempting to reunite them. Dhanush married Aishwarya Rai, Rajinikanth’s eldest daughter, in 2004. Yatra Raja and Linga Raja are the separated couple’s two sons.
While announcing their split on social media earlier this year, Dhanush and Aishwarya asked that people respect their privacy. “18 years as friends, a couple, parents, and well-wishers to one other.” The road has been one of development, comprehension, adjustment, and adaptation… Today we find ourselves at a crossroads… Aishwaryaa and I have chosen to separate ways as a pair in order to better understand ourselves as individuals. Please respect our choice and provide us with the privacy we require to cope with this,” Dhanush stated in a statement.
Meanwhile, on the job front, Dhanush is now relishing in the glory of his recent box office hits Naane Varuven and Thiruchitrambalam. Following that, he will star in filmmaker Venky Atluri’s multilingual drama Vaathi. The project is expected to be released on December 2nd, this year. In the film, the multifaceted performer will portray a teacher. He’s also working on Arun Matheswaran’s forthcoming thriller Captain Miller. The project, billed as an action-adventure film, would take place in 1930s India.
