Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, a young and promising hero, recently delivered a big big hit with Rakshasudu, the official Telugu remake of the Tamil movie cult hit Ratsasan. His next two films will be remakes as well. With Chatrapathi, Bellamkonda makes his Bollywood debut. VV Vinayak will direct the remake, which will be produced by Pen Studios. The start of the film has been postponed due to the second wave of coronavirus. A massive set was erected in Hyderabad for the film’s first schedule, but it is now vacant until the cast and crew can resume shooting once the situation returns to some semblance of normalcy. Following Chatrapathi, the young actor will be seen in the official Telugu remake of Karnan, playing Dhanush, a Kollywood star.

Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas will play the lead in a remake of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Tamil film Karnan, which was a box office smash, releasing just weeks before the full force of the COVID-19 wave hit South territories. Bollywood had already been hurting for a while, having taken the brunt of the second COVID-19 wave that had hit its markets.

Dhanush was cast in an action-packed role by Karnan, and Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, who saw the original, was blown away by the script and execution, and couldn’t pass up the chance to remake it in Telugu when the opportunity arose. The rest of the cast and crew of the film will be announced shortly by the producers.
