Bellamkonda Chatrapathi by Sai Sreenivas hits the floors, and SS Rajamouli applauds the muhurtham shot.
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is poised to make his Hindi debut in an official adaptation of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster film Chatrapathi. Since its beginnings, the film has been the talk of the town. The yet-to-be-titled film, which is described as a populist action entertainment, was officially launched today, July 16, at a spectacular event in Hyderabad.
Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, star director VV Vinayak, and Bollywood’s popular production firm Pen Studios are collaborating on a Bollywood project that will be an official adaptation of India’s top filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s hit film Chatrapathi. While star Rama Rajamouli switched on the camera and producer AM Ratnam handled the honorary direction, Rajamouli graced the launch event and sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot.
Bellamkonda will be stepping into the footsteps of ‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas, and he has gone to great lengths to get into the character’s skin. Rajamouli’s father, KV Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the original tale, is also the writer for the remake. Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, director of Pen Studios, was also present during the muhurtham. He stated, “We are ecstatic and pleased since this is one of our major ventures with brilliant actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and famous Director VV Vinayak.” We are certain that the public will like our cooperation and that it will make history in Indian film.
Nizar Ali Shafi, who has worked on numerous Telugu and Tamil films such as Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Mahanubhavudu, and others, will direct the film, while Tanishk Bagchi, an emerging musician in Bollywood, will compose the soundtrack.
