Arvind Swamy is scheduled to make a 25-year comeback in a Malayalam film with ‘Ottu.’

Aravind Swamy, a hugely renowned south Indian actor, is scheduled to return to Malayalam cinema with the Tamil-Malayalam bi-lingual film ‘Ottu.’

Swamy first appeared in the Malayalam film ‘Devaragam’ in 1996, and previous to that he wore the greasepaint in the film ‘Daddy.’

Swamy made his film debut with ace director Mani Ratnam’s blockbuster ‘Thalapathi,’ which also starred superstars Rajinikanth and Mammootty.

Since then, he has had no need to look back, and the 51-year-old actor has progressed to the point where he can pick and choose what and which roles he requires.

‘Ottu,’ directed by T.P. Fellini and produced by Tamil actors Arya and Shaji Natesan, also stars popular Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban.
