Anushka Sharma has finished filming Chakda Xpress, her most recent production in which she portrays cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Karnesh Ssharma, the brother of Anushka Ssharma, is the film’s producer, while Prosit Roy is its director.
The filming for Anushka Sharma’s forthcoming flick Chakda ‘Xpress is complete. In the Netflix movie, which is produced by Anushka Sharma’s brother Karnesh Sharma’s production company, Clean Slate Filmz, and is directed by Prosit Roy, she will play cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Jhulan, Karnesh, and Prosit joined Anushka in celebrating the completion of the filming. The following year, the film is expected to make its Netflix premiere.
Anushka posted on Instagram, saying, “It’s over on Chakda ‘Xpress, and we’d like to thank @JhulanGoswami for giving the shoot its last applause. (Cricket bat, clapboard, and blue heart emojis)” The actor posted a number of images from the final day of filming, which took place inside a cricket stadium. Jhulan, Prosit, and Anushka are seen cutting a specially crafted cake in the first image. The cake exposes the film’s title and Jhulan’s jersey number 25, as well as the fact that it was shot over the course of 65 days in seven schedules and six different cities.
Another image shows Anushka hugging director Prosit while the cast and staff applaud. Jhulan is holding the film’s final clapboard, which reads, “It’s a wrap.” Jhulan is also seen placing the same board over Anushka as she reclines in a truck, with the words “day 65″ scrawled on it. Anushka, who is also holding the clapboard, joins Prosit and Karnesh in a lighthearted exchange. Fans hailed the star on the news and expressed excitement about seeing her in movies once more. Can’t wait to see you on tv soon (red heart emojis),” one admirer commented. Another person said, “Same grin as Jhulan,” in reference to Anushka’s photos.

Anushka explained why the biography on the Indian bowler was unique when it was first unveiled earlier this year. In a statement, she had stated: “It will give you a new perspective on women’s cricket. It was incredibly tough for women to even consider playing cricket when Jhulan decided to pursue a career in the sport and proudly represent her country abroad.A dramatic tale of several occasions that had an impact on both her life and women’s cricket is presented in this film.
Anushka recently appeared in Zero (2018) by Aanand L Rai, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. She also produced the 2020 Netflix movie Bulbbul throughout the previous four years, and most recently, she appeared in Anvita Dutt’s Qala, another Karnesh production. Virat Kohli, a cricketer, is her husband. Vamika Kohli, their daughter, will be two in January 2023.
