Anil Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Chiranjeevi, and others celebrate an 80s reunion at Jackie Shroff’s house.
On Sunday, prominent Indian film industry personalities from the 1980s were observed celebrating together under one roof.
The 1980s were critical years in the growth and development of the Indian cinema industry. Mr. India, Chandni, Dostana, The Burning Train, and Telugu film Magadheerudu, to mention a few, were all released during this time period and were huge box office hits. Many of the popular films of the time are still beloved by people today.
The 11th edition of this reunion, held in Mumbai, brought together a number of high-profile personalities, including actors Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Vidya Balan, Chiranjeevi, Jackie Shroff, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Tina Ambani, and Venkatesh, to name a few.
On Sunday, actors Poonam Dhillon and Jackie Shroff threw a get-together at the latter’s Mumbai residence.
At the ceremony were actors Khushboo, Shobana, Revathy, Madhoo Shah, and Raj Babbar.
Ramya Krishnan, Rajkumar, Sarathkumar, Baghyaraj, Naresh, Bhanuchandar, Suhasini Maniratnam, Lissy, Poornima Baghyaraj, Radha Nair, Ambika, Saritha, Sumalatha, and Nadia were among the guests.
The 10th annual ’80s actors reunion was conducted in 2019 and was hosted by Chiranjeevi at his Hyderabad residence, according to the Hindustan Times. According to the article, “dozens of celebrities from had attended that reunion.” However, due to the widespread incidence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event has not been held in the last two years. It was recreated this year when the celebrities gathered in Mumbai for their annual reunion.”
Anupam Kher was most recently seen in the film Uunchai, in which he plays the lead character opposite actors Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sarika, and Neena Gupta.
