Actor-politician R. Sarath Kumar was admitted to a hospital in Chennai after experiencing diarrhoea.
R Sarath Kumar, a former politician and actor in Tamil, was admitted to the hospital on Sunday when his health began to deteriorate. The seasoned actor was dehydrated as a result of his diarrhoea. He is receiving treated at Chennai’s Apollo hospital. He is currently in better health, according to sources. But his family members have not provided any information about his health. He is in the hospital with her daughter and her wife. Additionally, no medical bulletins have been issued by the medical staff. Everyone, from celebrities to fans, is now wishing for his quick recovery.
With the release of Samajamlo Stree in 1986, Sarath Kumar made his film debut. He debuted in Tamil two years later with the film Kan Simittum Neram. This movie, which he also produced, helped him gain popularity. He then appeared in a number of movies as a supporting actor. He used to work nonstop on 10 movies a year. The actor has appeared in more than 130 films overall, some of which were made in Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil.

In Tamil Nadu, he established the All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi (AISKM) in 2007. He previously represented the Tenkasi constituency in the Legislative assembly. In fact, he held the position of president of the Nadigar Sangam for three terms in a row from 2006 to 2015.
Getting back to Sarath Kumar’s personal life, Chaya Devi and he were wed in 1984. Two kids were born to the couple. Later, in 2000, he divorcéed Chaya Devi and wed Radhika, an actress, in 2001. Son of Radhika and Sarath Kumar. Varalakshmi, his eldest daughter, began acting in South Indian films after breaking into the industry.
